Toxic vs. Green Cleaning Products

Everyone can benefit from green cleaning. To "clean green" is to clean without using harsh and toxic cleaning products. To the much surprise of many, you can receive the same results from green products as you can toxic products. I've met clients who believe it isn't clean unless it has a strong bleach smell. What some people don't realize is that bleach contains components that can trigger allergies in people.

Toxic cleaning products contain ingredients that can cause cancer, skin irritants and problems with your respiratory system. Some of these products may be in your cabinet right now. They are there at the risk of a child drinking them. Even small amounts of toxic cleaning chemicals can and do build up in your system, with the potential to cause heart and lung conditions, including cancers.

Baking soda and lemon juice are great all natural bleaching agents. Baking Soda can be used to clean cast iron cookware, remove scratches from counter tops, deodorize carpet, remove carpet stains, buff out furniture stains, remove crayon marks from walls, unclog a drain, used as a laundry fabric softener, soft scrub cleaner and toilet bowl cleaner.

Vinegar is good for disinfecting, removing mildew in the bathroom, cleaning chrome and stainless steel surfaces, shine silver, give new life to old rugs, remove carpet stains, remove water rings on furniture, disinfect kitchen cutting boards, clean glass and mirrors to name a few.

If you haven't tried green cleaning you should it's refreshing and safe for all, and if your looking for a cleaning service make sure they're green!

Price Only Customers

Are you a "price only customer?" In this day in age everyone is looking for a bargain. Don't compromise the safety of you and your family, for an inexpensive cleaning. As a result of the economy theft has increased greatly. More and more people are looking for ways to make quick cash. It doesn't take a brain surgeon to start a cleaning company. All you need is cleaning supplies, which you can purchase at the Dollar Store.
Independent cleaners or trunk slammers as the cleaning professionals call them, typically charge less than a professional cleaning company. They can do this because they aren't licensed, bonded or insured to new a few. Many also haven't had the necessary training to maintain a successful cleaning business.

The last thing you would want to do is hire someone to clean your home or office based solely on price. The saying is so true, you get what you pay for. When selecting a cleaning service, make sure they're reputable and check their references. If the professional cleaning company's price is too high, try negotiating with them. Most cleaning companies will customize a cleaning regime to fit your budget. There is nothing more important than having a safe and happy home with a healthy family. Homes are sacred and that is where we should have peace of mind, and not worry about things missing.

Cleaning Chemicals Explodes a Car!

Monique Hick suffers from first and second degree burns on her face and arms, after her car exploded after lighting a cigarette with a car full of toxic cleaning products. The flame from her lighter apparently ignited fumes from the cleaning products in her trunk and in the floorboard of her vehicle.

According to the story, the police initially didn't know what had caused the explosion so they called in the bomb squad with its special robot to check out the car. After evacuating the nearby office building, the FBI questioned employees in the parking lot who helped in determining the cleaning chemical connection to the explosion.

This is a great example why it isn't a good idea to smoke and use toxic cleaning products. They both are deadly!
