What is Aromatherapy?

Aromatherapy infused cleaning products; make cleaning exciting and safe. Instead of inhaling toxic fumes and getting sick, aromatherapy cleaning products make cleaning refreshing. I don’t know about you but I’ve felt like passing out while trying to clean a number of times while using toxic cleaning products. I’m sure most of us have mixed cleaning products together thinking it will clean up the dirt better, only to realize we were potentially killing ourselves and damaging our lungs.

Aromatherapy is believed to offer both psychological and physical benefits, not only does the aroma of the natural essential oils stimulate the brain to trigger a reaction, but the natural components of the essential oils are drawn into the lungs and can also supply physical benefit.

Most commonly used essential oils

Tea Tree oil is best known for its germ fighting abilities as well as its strong scent. It can be used for fighting athlete’s foot, ring worm, and other infectious skin agents. It’s excellent for household disinfecting, and is used in many ready made natural cleansers.

Lavender can be used to as a natural anti-fungal and anti-biotic agent. It can also be applied directly to the skin to help heal and protect minor wounds. A few drops can be added to massage oil and rubbed onto the skin for relaxation and healing. Lavender is famous for its delightful smell and calming effects.

So the next time you get upset get a bottle of lavender scented all purpose cleaner, clean your house and calm down at the same time!

Chamomile not only smells great it has anti-inflammatory properties, and eases spasm and discomfort in the digestive tract. Although Chamomile is a flowering plant in the daisy family and it’s used medicinally, it makes cleaning products smell wonderful.

Did You Know?

Glycerin has natural stain removing capabilities. It makes the stain so slippery that it has to rinse itself out.
