LONDON — Two housekeepers who worked for soccer superstar David Beckham and wife Victoria have been arrested after personal items from the celebrity couple turned up on eBay, according to the Times of London.
Eric and June Emmett, housekeepers at the Beckhams' Hertfordshire estate, were arrested on suspicion of theft Friday and their son Gareth was arrested Monday, the story stated.
Police were alerted after Victoria Beckham's parents noticed personal items like her designer clothes and her husband's used soccer shoes on the online auction site, the story noted.
Eric Emmett denied stealing anything, but would not comment on his son's arrest, the story added.
